Outsourced IT support takes IT tasks off your team
Our managed IT support gives your Hampshire business an IT department for a fixed monthly fee per user. We look after your laptops, servers, network, Microsoft 365 and security, so your staff can focus on their work.
Our business IT support mainly suits small and medium-sized businesses without a dedicated IT employee. If a colleague loses time fixing printers and resetting passwords, we take those tasks off their hands.
From our Whiteley office, we support businesses along the M3, A31/A3 and M27 corridors. You get a named engineer who knows your setup, with on-site visits when a fault needs hands-on work.
- Helpdesk by phone, email or remote session, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
- We usually respond within the hour
- 24/7 monitoring of your devices
- We hold Cyber Essentials ourselves
WHAT THE FEE COVERS
Managed IT services included in one monthly fee
Your per-user fee covers helpdesk support, monitoring, software updates, device security and Microsoft 365 administration.
Helpdesk support
Call, email or start a remote session as often as you need. We fix login problems, email faults, slow laptops, printer issues and software errors. Many fixes happen over a secure remote connection, so staff get straight back to work.
24/7 device monitoring
Monitoring agents on your devices watch disk health, failed updates, backup jobs and security alerts around the clock. Problems get logged as they happen, so we can often fix them before anyone in your office notices.
Patching and maintenance
We test and roll out Windows and application updates at times that avoid your busy hours. Unpatched software is a common way in for attackers, so we chase any device that misses an update.
Endpoint security
We manage antivirus and endpoint protection on every device and check it stays switched on and current. Suspicious activity raises an alert to us, and we act on it during helpdesk hours.
Microsoft 365 admin
We add and remove users, reset passwords, manage mailboxes and shared folders, and keep multi-factor authentication switched on. We also check your licences, so you stop paying for accounts nobody uses.
Planning and advice
Your named engineer reviews ageing hardware, recurring faults and upcoming needs with you, on a schedule you agree. You get a plain-English plan for replacements, so spending rarely comes as a surprise.
CHOOSE YOUR MODEL
Choose fully managed or co-managed IT support
Get an outsourced IT department with fully managed support, or help for your existing IT staff with co-managed support.
Managed IT Support
We become your IT department. You pay a fixed monthly fee per user, and we take responsibility for support, monitoring, maintenance and security. This plan suits firms with no in-house IT staff.
- One number to call for every IT problem
- We own each fix from start to finish
- Costs move up or down with your headcount
Co-managed IT
You already employ an IT manager or small team, and we work alongside them. We can take the helpdesk queue, cover holidays and sickness, or run monitoring and security while your team handles projects.
- Your team keeps control of priorities
- Shared tickets and notes, if you want them
- Extra hands for busy periods
WHAT COSTS EXTRA
Plan your IT budget with extra costs agreed first
Your monthly fee covers support and upkeep. Equipment, software licences and projects cost extra. We agree these costs with you before work starts.
Typical extras include laptops, servers, software licences, office moves, cabling and larger migrations. Planning reviews flag these early, so you can budget for them.
We also supply business broadband, leased lines and cloud phone systems. With one provider for IT and connectivity, you have one number to call when your internet connection drops.
- Hardware and software licences
- Projects such as office moves and migrations
- New connectivity installations
SWITCHING TO US
Switch your IT support with a clear handover
Move from your current provider or set up support for the first time through our four-step process.
Free IT review
We visit or call, look at your devices, network, Microsoft 365 and backups, then give you a clear quote based on your user count.
Handover
We collect passwords, licences and documentation from your current provider. We deal with them directly, so your team has nothing to chase.
Set-up
We install monitoring and security agents, fix urgent risks found in the review, and record every device, account and licence.
Go live
Your staff get our helpdesk number and email address. From then on they contact us, and your named engineer keeps improving the setup.
24/7 MONITORING
24/7 device monitoring spots early warning signs
Monitoring flags early warning signs that your staff might miss. Overnight and weekend alerts are logged for review when the helpdesk opens.
- Hard drives showing signs of failure
- Backups that failed or did not run
- Devices missing security updates
- Antivirus switched off or out of date
- Disks running out of space
- Servers or network devices going offline
- Repeated failed sign-in attempts
Frequently asked questions
Managed IT Support: your questions answered
What is managed IT support?
Managed IT support means an outside provider looks after your IT for a regular fee. It combines helpdesk support, monitoring, updates and security, without paying per call-out. The aim is to prevent problems and reduce the time your team spends dealing with them.
How much does your business IT support cost?
We charge a fixed monthly fee per user and confirm your quote after a free IT review. Your managed IT services include helpdesk support, monitoring, software updates, device security and Microsoft 365 administration. Hardware, licences and projects are quoted separately, so you know what is included before you sign.
Is outsourced IT support cheaper than hiring someone?
Outsourced IT support can cost less than hiring, depending on your team size and support needs. Hiring brings salary, training, holiday cover and recruitment costs. Our IT support for small businesses gives you access to different technical skills for a fixed monthly fee. If you hire an IT employee later, you can move to our co-managed plan.
What are your helpdesk hours?
Our helpdesk is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and we usually respond within the hour. Device monitoring runs 24/7. Overnight and weekend alerts are logged for us to review when the helpdesk opens.
Which parts of Hampshire do you cover?
We provide managed IT support across Hampshire from our Whiteley office. Areas include Farnborough, Fleet, Basingstoke, Winchester, Andover, Southampton, Eastleigh, Fareham, Portsmouth and Havant. We also cover Farnham and Camberley on the Surrey border. Most fixes happen remotely, with on-site visits when needed.
How do we switch from our current IT provider?
We start with a free IT review, then manage the handover with your current provider. Check your notice period before agreeing a switch date. We coordinate the transfer of passwords, licences and documentation. We aim to have monitoring and security tools in place before your switch date.
Can you help us get Cyber Essentials?
Yes, we can prepare your business for Cyber Essentials certification as a separate service. Our Cyber Essentials support includes readiness checks and help fixing gaps before submission. We hold Cyber Essentials ourselves. Our managed service includes software updates, device security and account controls that address areas the scheme checks.
