WHAT WE LOOK AFTER
Keep Microsoft 365 for business up to date as staff change
We manage mailboxes, shared files, Teams and account access as people join, change roles or leave your business.
Exchange Online email
We set up mailboxes, shared inboxes, distribution lists and room calendars. We also publish SPF, DKIM and DMARC records for your domain, so genuine mail reaches inboxes and spoofed mail gets rejected.
SharePoint and OneDrive
We build a file structure around how your teams work, with a site per department and clear permissions. Personal drafts live in OneDrive. Shared work lives in SharePoint, so files stay put when someone leaves.
Microsoft Teams setup
We create teams and channels that match your departments and projects, then link each one to the right SharePoint library. We agree guest access, meeting recording and external chat settings with you first.
Teams Phone calling
Teams Phone is a paid add-on that lets staff call outside numbers from Teams. We set up auto attendants, call queues, voicemail and desk phones, then connect it to the public phone network.
Security and MFA
We enforce multifactor authentication on every account, block legacy sign-in and tighten admin roles. On Business Premium we add Conditional Access, Defender for Business on each device and stronger email filtering.
Licence audits
We compare every assigned licence with real usage. Ex-staff accounts, duplicate add-ons and people on a bigger plan than they need get flagged. You see the full list before anything changes.
CHOOSING A PLAN
Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Standard or Basic: choose what fits
The business plans are designed for organisations with up to 300 users. We match each person's licence to their apps, devices and security needs.
Business Basic
Web and mobile versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, plus Exchange email, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive. It suits staff who spend most of the day in a browser or on a phone.
- No installed desktop apps
- Good for field and part-time staff
Business Standard
Everything in Basic plus the installed desktop apps for Windows and Mac. It fits most office workers who build spreadsheets, documents and presentations every day and want the full feature set.
- Desktop Office apps
- Same email and Teams as Basic
Business Premium
Everything in Standard plus the security tools most small firms lack. You get Intune device management, Entra ID P1 for Conditional Access, Defender for Business and information protection labels for sensitive files.
- Manage and wipe laptops and phones
- Block risky or unmanaged sign-ins
Copilot add-on
Microsoft 365 Copilot is a paid add-on for Basic, Standard or Premium. Eligible plans already include Copilot Chat for web results at no extra cost. We help you decide who would gain from a paid seat.
- Assign seats per person
- Trial with a small group first
MIGRATION
Move your email and files to Microsoft 365 with a clear plan
We migrate from Google Workspace, IMAP hosting, Exchange servers or another Microsoft 365 organisation. We agree what moves and when you switch.
Audit what you have
We list every mailbox, shared drive, alias and domain. We note what must move, what can be archived and which licence each person needs.
Plan the cutover
We agree a cutover date that suits your business and brief staff in advance. Mail, calendars and contacts start copying in the background beforehand.
Switch and sync
We update your DNS records, run a final sync and connect each laptop and phone. Files land in the new SharePoint structure, folder by folder.
Day one support
We stay on hand after the switch to fix stray profiles and answer questions. Your old system can stay readable until you confirm nothing is missing.
COPILOT READINESS
Keep sensitive files restricted before you introduce Copilot
Copilot can use content that your signed-in account has permission to access. Loose SharePoint permissions could expose salary information or other confidential files.
Before you buy Copilot licences, we review sharing links and site permissions. We tighten access, apply sensitivity labels and archive outdated content.
If you handle legal records, defence information or other sensitive data, only authorised staff should have access. These checks help protect your files whether or not you use AI.
- Oversharing report across SharePoint and OneDrive
- Sensitivity labels for confidential files
- Pilot group and staff training
SECURITY BASELINE
Reduce Microsoft 365 security risks with the right account settings
We check sign-in protection, device settings and access controls to reduce common risks to your accounts and data.
- Multifactor authentication on every account
- Separate admin accounts with no mailbox
- Auto-forwarding to outside addresses turned off
- A leaver process that blocks sign-in and reclaims the licence
- Backup checks, with independent Microsoft 365 backup available
- Secure Score reviews on a schedule agreed with you
Frequently asked questions
Microsoft 365 & Teams: your questions answered
Which Microsoft 365 for business plan should we choose?
Choose the plan that matches each person's apps, devices and security needs. Business Basic provides email and browser apps, while Business Standard adds desktop apps. Microsoft 365 Business Premium adds device management and security controls, including Conditional Access. You can mix plans across your team. We check whether your chosen licences include Teams.
Do you provide Office 365 support in Hampshire?
Yes, our Whiteley team provides Office 365 support across Hampshire. We help you with email problems, Office apps, licences and account access. We also manage mailboxes and settings for your existing subscription.
Can you migrate us from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365?
Yes, we migrate email, calendars and contacts into Exchange Online, and Drive files into SharePoint and OneDrive. We start copying data before the switch and plan the changeover with you. Your staff keep their email addresses.
Does Microsoft 365 include Teams Phone?
No, Microsoft 365 business plans do not include Teams Phone for external calls as standard. You need an eligible Teams licence and Teams Phone licensing. External calls also need a connection, such as a Calling Plan or Operator Connect. We compare your options with our cloud phone system.
Does Microsoft 365 include an independent backup?
No, an independent backup is not included as standard with Microsoft 365 business plans. Retention and deleted-item recovery do not replace a separate backup. We check how you could restore email and files after deletion, ransomware or another incident. Our backup and continuity service can add protection for Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams.
How can a Microsoft 365 licence audit reduce costs?
A licence audit can reduce costs by identifying licences and add-ons you no longer need. We compare your paid licences with sign-in records and each person's requirements. We check leavers' accounts, unused project add-ons and whether each plan fits its user. You approve changes before we make them.
Do we need Microsoft 365 Business Premium for Cyber Essentials?
No, Cyber Essentials does not require Microsoft 365 Business Premium specifically. Business Premium includes Intune and Defender for Business to help you manage devices and apply security controls. We hold Cyber Essentials and can review your Microsoft 365 setup against the requirements.
Can you provide Microsoft 365 support alongside our in-house IT team?
Yes, we can share Microsoft 365 support responsibilities with your existing IT staff. We can handle migrations, security settings or Teams Phone projects while your team manages daily requests. Separate named administrator accounts help you track who changed what.
